The Mental Health Counselors of Greater Rochester, a Chapter of the New York State Mental Health Counselors Association, was established in 2003 to support the needs of local counselors, mental health providers and students. Since then, our membership has grown to include over 70 active members.
MHCGR hosts monthly trainings to support the professional development of its members and always looks within its membership for keynote presenters on topics such as Domestic Violence, Disasters and Mental Health Implications, State Licensure, Energy Psychology, Performance Under Pressure, Gerontology, Sexual Addictions, Obesity, and more.
